About The Brand

The Supermarket Co. is an American-based brand founded by Kawaun Love and Shalise Jones in 2019. Created in Philadelphia, PA; the duo exhibits their collaborative brand as ready-to-wear and made-to-order accessible high-quality luxury for the modern everyday individual.

Designed from an innovative standpoint, The Supermarket Co. is both a symbol of contemporary fashion and hereditary stories. Shalise credits her understanding of design and fabric to her college years at The University of The Arts, while Kawaun credits his understanding of garments and construction to growing up in Brooklyn, NY in-which he considers a melting pot of fashions and cultures, giving them the collective understanding of how to construct each piece and ingrain the stories told with each collection. The Supermarket Co. is a visual expression on American style and culture itself; coined by the duo as “The Uniform of Modern America”.
